Panel discussion moderated by Laurie Cumbo, Executive Director of MoCADA, addressing
the rise in importance of Brooklyn’s Black visual arts scene over the past 50 years. Panel-
ists include curator Dexter Wimberly, painter Karl McIntosh, mural specialist Jane Weiss-
man, curator Shantrelle Lewis and independent curator Krista Saunders. The discussion
is followed by a Q & A session led by Wendy Jones, independent arts consultant.
